14th Azerbaijan International “Construction” Exhibition BakuBuild 2008

Lately, on October 22 through 25, the 14th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition was held in the capital at the Sport and Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev. The official opening ceremony took place at 11:00 on October 22. Exposition area covers the pavilions 1, 2, 3, 4 (upper level), as well as the open area at the entrance of pavilions 1 and 3. The ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku city Executive Power, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation and the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan. Generally, the exhibition will host more than 250 companies form Russia, Poland, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Belarus, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Israel, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Slovenia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Switzerland and other countries, among which there are the largest construction companies of the Republic. One of such companies represented in the exhibition was Mega Makina LLC, which is a part of Mega Holding. Mega Makina LLC exhibited heavy construction and road-building machinery such as MST Bekoloder, Atlas, TİANGONG of Sanko Makina Company (Azerbaijan - Turkey) and dumper-trucks, concrete mixers and SHACMAN make tractors.
