The "Ugur-2006" national awards ceremony for the economic and business sectors was held in the "Gulustan" Palace. The MEGA Holding Group was nominated in two categories at the same time: "For input into the realization of the State Programme on the socio-economic development of the regions" and "For comprehensive and dynamic development".
The companies of the MEGA Holding Group were very enthusiastic supporters of the State Programme on the socio-economic development of the regions, signed by the President of the republic, Ilham Aliyev. The document particularly underlines the necessity of developing the infrastructure and building and restoring communications between cities and villages, constructing buildings that correspond to the highest world standards and constructing Olympic complexes.
We can boldly declare that all points of the Programme found their reflection in the activity of MEGA Holding.
We can simply point to the construction of great residential complexes in Ganja, such as Ganja-BUTA and CHINAR, the construction of Olympic complexes in Astara and Jalilabad, the reconstruction of a health/medical complex in Naftalan, as well as the construction of different buildings in various regions of the country. All these projects are realized by construction companies which are part of MEGA Holding, such as INTEKS, YENI INSHAAT, INSHAATCI and ISHKOM.
The holding had made a special input into the development of roads. Acting upon a governmental order, the YOL SERVIS Company is reconstructing roads on the Ganja-Khanlar route. These include the Shaddadilar highway, Mir Jalal Pashayev, Bakhtiyar Aliyev, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Zulfi Hajiyev, Shahlar Husseinov, Ozan, Dede Gorgud streets and others.
Moreover, while building residential complexes in the regions, the company interlays and blacktops driveways between the buildings and also builds roads leading to the complex under construction.
MEGA Holding is planning to expand its geographical range of activity even further, to become actively engaged in construction, not only in the big cities of the country, but also in the furthest villages.
