MEGA Holding

Representatives of the MEGA Holding Companies participated at the "Students in Free Enterprise" SIFE National Championship as members of the jury, on May 30, 2008.
We should note that this championship has been held since 2006 following the "Youth of Azerbaijan" State Programme (2005-2009) signed by the President of the republic, Ilham Aliyev.

"Students in Free Enterprise" is an international programme founded by American universities in 1976. Student teams from over 50 countries take part in the world championship which is held within the framework of this programme. Azerbaijan also earned the right to participate in international competitions in 2006.
Student teams from 11 universities of the country participated with 39 projects in the national competition this year, which was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Tourism. The jury, including the representatives of MEGA Holding, announced the team from the Azerbaijan State Economic University to be the winner.
20 people will represent Azerbaijan in the world championship to be held in Singapore from 1-3 October, 2008.
This project, as part of the "Youth of Azerbaijan" State Programme, is of great significance for the development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan and for training new personnel. MEGA Holding strongly supports the initiatives and the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev aimed at expanding the role of youth in the economic potential of Azerbaijan, the promotion of entrepreneurial ideas and the development of organizational skills among young employees.
Some of the most outstanding participants will be invited to join the MEGA Holding Companies after graduating from university. We intend to provide even more stimulation and encouragement for youth to engage in entrepreneurial activity and to attract them to active participation in the economic life of the country.
