Major overhaul of the Confederation of Trade Unions Building completed
This building, located at the very heart of Baku, near the Old City Walls and the Gosha Gala (Double Gates), is the carte-de-visite of downtown Baku. Naturally, the refurbishment of this historic building required a special approach.
The renovation works started from scratch, beginning with the roof, which was topped by super-quality metallic tiles produced in Belgium, and finishing with the illumination of the building.
During the renovation of an area of 7000 square metres carried out by the "INTEKS" Company - a part of MEGA Holding - the interior walls were taken down and a whole new plan of the premises was introduced. The entire work was completed under strict quality control at every stage of the renovation.
The new, modern office design has an entirely different look from the former lay-out. It is as if the confederation building has been "reborn", and this does not apply only to the interior design. The 'INTEKS" company installed new systems of heating, lighting, fire protection, video monitoring etc.
We would especially like to note the illumination of the front of the building, which is well worth seeing at night. The aura of mystery shed by the illumination is in perfect harmony with the historic appearance of the Old City Walls and bestows an even greater magnificence upon this part of the city.
